The inescapable noise often distracts practitioners and followers from the ultimate goal of financial markets: to allocate capital to the most efficient uses. The posts will cover a broad range of subjects from the topical to the academic. The emphasis will always be on providing some insight into a debate rather than re-iterating arguments you can read elsewhere (though that may be unavoidable).
